Tiger Woods withdrew from Genesis this week because he is “still treating” the death of his mother.
The 15 -time lead hero says he is “unprofors” to return to the golf after his mother's death, Coltida, who was announced on February 4.
Three days later, the championship organizers announced his participation in Woods at the event in Tori Pines.
“I planned to raise this week, but I am not ready,” Woods wrote on social media.
“I did my best to prepare, knowing that this is what my mother wants, but I am still treating her loss.
“Thanks to everyone who extended his hand. I hope to be in Tori later in the week and to appreciate the continuous kindness since my mother's death.”
Woods has not played PGA Tour since last year's open year's Royal Tron in July.
The Americans have not played regularly since he was seriously injured in a car accident in February 2021 and performed more surgery at the bottom of his back in September.
The 49 -year -old played alongside the teenage son Charlie in an event of 36 hole in December, and also participated in the Golf Golf event (TGL) he founded.
Woods is the tournament host at Genesis Invitational, which starts on Thursday and benefits the Woods' TGR Foundation.
He was to happen in Riviera Rural Club, but he was transferred to Tori Pines in San Diego due to Los Angeles fires.
