Ryan Joseman, who plays Eddie Diaz on 9-1-1, recently participated in his ideas about the emotional farewell scene in the seventh season conclusion. In this episode, Eddie must say goodbye to his son Christopher, who chose to live with his grandparents.
The tension between them stems from Christopher's struggle to tolerate Eddie to deceive him on Marisol with a person who is very similar to his late mother. This prompted Christopher to move away from his father.
Joseman was reflected in the difficult nature of this scene in an interview with TVLINE. “It was really difficult,” I admit.
“I found my personal feelings leaking to my performance, and I kept thinking about how to connect this moment to my son. How did I express that this will harm me deeply, while he is still strong for him and supports his choice? It was a lot to deal with him.”
It also alluded to what is in the Eddie Store in the eighth season, indicating that there will be some great growth and self -enjoyment.
“Certainly, in the first episode of season 8, may not see Eddie and Christopher together,” Joseman mentioned. He is optimistic that this time I will allow Eddie to reassess his life and delve into new aspects of his personality.
