The British final will start on the network, Haas Oliver Berman's driver, in the past after a difficult weekend.
Its gearbox failed in his first bosom of drilling in the qualifiers, after crashing in the second practice and trading in gravel in the last session cost him at the time of the track at the beginning of his first full season.
Among the six emerging on the network, the most impressive performance came from Brazilian Gabriel Portolo, who qualified his teammate in the Sauber Niko Holkenburg team in fifteenth, and there are German Dhahran.
Norris was happy with his performance, but his main interest is the race that expects rain.
He said: “It is the ideal way to start the year. Every person in McLaren has done a great job to start one but only qualified, let's see tomorrow, it will be a difficult race but this is a good way to start.
“The car is very fast, and when you put it together, it cannot be believed, but it is difficult to assemble it.
“In particular, after the first roll, when you went out and lost my embrace, you are in a difficult situation – you need to risk it but do not go too far because you cannot make a mistake. It is a difficult balance. We know how quickly Max and Red Bull in the rain.”
Versappen said he did not think he could have made the difference to overcome McLares even with a perfect bosom.
“Yesterday was very difficult, so I was in P3, I take that,” he said. “The qualified rolls were very exciting, a lot of good fist here and some fast angles so that they are always very enjoyable in the F1.
“In the end, the gap was very large for them, so it was not possible to make a difference in terms of position. Wet or dry, no objection, but in wet a lot of crazy things can happen.”
Bearman collected his mistakes in practice while digesting the weekend so far.
“I have made my life very difficult through bad performance, not to a record level, in training sessions and the issue with the gearbox summarizes the weekend,” he said.
