The International Golf Federation (IGF) referred to its desire to add an event, as one husband from each country competing in a two -day championship will compete in the gap between the 60 -players ’championships.
“We are one of many of the presentations, but we hear very positive things and support from La28, as well as strong support from the rights of broadcasters such as NBC for us to get this event,” IGF CEO told BBC Sport.
“With this support, we hope that the right light will be applied next Monday.
“I was optimistic all the time. I don't want to waste the time of anyone in this.
“I got a great feature, especially leaving Paris and the great support we received from all athletes, males and females.”
Ko and Shin Lauri, who carried the Irish flag at the Paris opening ceremony, are among the players who support the show.
“It is very convincing why we should be part of the program,” said resident.
“Even after the social and sports side, there is also the financial aspect – two additional days in Los Angeles with minimal operational expenses, the large trend in terms of tickets, revenues from goods, etc.”
