From Manchester, it seemed that Middlemiss was able to establish itself as a major face on UK TV before he suddenly decided to follow a completely different path.
With Showreel's show including Emmerdale and Waterloo Road, his decision was shocked by many dramas. But no, it is clear, those closest to him given his competitive plan.
“Acting can be difficult but it is an easier scene than boxing,” MiddleMiss laughs.
“My family and friends know how much I could compete and my father always loved boxing, so I don't think they fell from their chairs when they discovered what I wanted to do.
“Well, they may have been surprised a bit. But they are not stunned or helpless, I don't think, because of what I am.
“There are more relaxing ways to earn a living, but there is something about the boxing that caused me immediately. I think this is the pressure that you should put in yourself because, in the ring, you are just you and the other man, so you cannot rely on anyone else.
“You have to show the focus and you have an engine to improve improvement. You can never give up.
“From the first moment, I entered the gym, just attracted me. Perhaps, in my eyes, it is a final and elegant test that you can never try.”
Middlesmiss, who starred alongside Sally Lindsay and Robin Ascoyeth, was in the secrets of Madame Blanc, in fact, Krikiti player, promising before he decided not to overcome the gloves.
But the long stadium days put Middlesemiss from sport, and broke his father's heart, who loved the long matches.
“It is the polarity that is the opposite of boxing,” says Midlisis. “She fell in the event of her love in the end. It was a gradual decrease.”
