The Academy announced that Richard was a former president and ruler of the Academy of Arts and Animation, which was also a long profession in advertising and cinematography, on April 5 in Los Angeles. He was 95 years old.

Khan, the twenty -sixth president of the Academy, was elected in August 1988, succeeding Robert Wise, and served one term. He also served 12 years as academic ruler. He was previously elected for five periods as a vice president and one secretary during his term. He was a member of the Marketing and Public Relations branch at the Academy of Arts and Sciences of Animation since 1964 and worked in its 15 -year executive branch committee.
Kramer and Yang added: “During his time in the board of directors, as our president and a ruler for many years, he played a vital role in creating traditions that still exist today.” “His vision and leadership leaves an indelible sign. He remained a friend of many, and our thoughts with his family at this time.”
Kahn helped launch many initiatives at the Academy, including new members receptions, which are now held annually all over the world. He also chaired the Public Relations Coordination Committee, which established the first lunch banquet at the Academy in 1982.
