“When we make a movie, we can do many things,” says Higucci for the deadline. “We are like God – we can control the life and fate of the characters. We can make them die, we can make them live. Although these characters may not be already in real life, and they have their fate in our hands, we take responsibility for making these decisions.”
These lines of philosophical interrogation come from a deep personal place for Higucci, who has gone through a turbulent time during adolescence.
“I think a lot about how these people go through the movie and learn to survive at the end of the day. Because when I was a teenager, I hated this world,” says Higucci. “But I was interested in living in the foreground, just as I was looking at the future. Perhaps although the situation may be my worst point, I thought about how I grew up in a few years and life may be better.”
After high school, Higuchi ended in public service, with post -Japan services, but he knew deeply that his invitation was in the creative world.
“In my school, they did not really allow you to walk in a creative path. When I looked at the graduates and graduates, there was this graphic scheme, and no one was going to creative work. Everyone will go to university.” I had a public service test, but I felt that my future was not there. This was the first time I asked myself, “What I want to do? The answer was, mainly, to enter the films.”

Looking at the future, Higuchi wants to focus on making movies based on the original scenario, but he admits that it is not easy to obtain such projects, compared to the IP air conditioning that the audience already knows.

Higucci notes that he noticed that the writers who move from the theatrical scene in Japan, to the film industry, are often able to attract money from investors to large budget movies.
“The writers who come from theater to movies, when they write the text, make the actors really shine,” he added. “When you ask them,” What is the story? “They always talk about the character instead of the story.
