Katie Ledky has achieved its first record in the world in the world seven years.
The 28 -year -old won 800 meters free in the Tyr Pro Meet series in Florida in eight minutes and 4.12 seconds, overcoming a record that I published nine years ago.
The time has improved from the previous sign of 8: 04.79, which was set by the Olympic champion nine times while winning gold in the Rio 2016 games.
This is the sixth time that Ledky has set a new sign of this event since I set the record of the Great British champion twice Rebecca Adlington in 2013.
Before its latest achievement, the latest record in LEDCI came in the 1500 -meter free race in May 2018 and it carries four in a total – for a long time and short in both 800 meters and 1500 meters free.
Ledky, who invaded both titles in both Paris 2024 and Tokyo 2020 games, have achieved some beautiful shapes during the past week.
She published her second family in the 400 -meter free race on Thursday – her best in nine years – and the second fastest 1500 -meter free in date on Wednesday.
Earlier on Saturday, the Compatuot Gritchen Walsh overcame the 100m butterfly World Records, where it recorded 55.09 seconds.
The 22-year-old holds the latest world records with nine-five individuals and four initiatives.
Walsh and LEDECKY are looking to add to the World Championships in the World Championships in the 2025 version of Singapore from July 11 to August 3.
