Pharmacy leaders issued a new warning about selling online for weight loss harassment, saying that there is still a threat to patient safety.

The National Pharmacy Association (NPA) wrote to the organizers who are calling for strict rules, after reports that some online sellers have set goals for doctors to address more than 20 patients every hour.

NPA said it was familiar with people who have been mistakenly prescribing medications with previous eating disorders, or that the body weight is already low.

The body, which represents independent community pharmacies, said that there is a need to consult a two -way with a patient who lasts at least 20 to 30 minutes instead of relying on online questionnaires to reach these medications.

He added that the person's medical registry must also be examined before the sellers decide whether or not the weight loss injection will be dispensed with, and regular reviews must be performed.

“It is important that consultations with patients be comprehensive, allowing the doctor to obtain treatment and any possible side effects that may cause them,” Nick Kai, Nick Kai, Nick -Chairman, told the News Agency to the Palestinian Authority.

“It is also important to ensure that clinical decisions related to weight loss injection are not affected by financial goals or incentives.”

NPA wrote to the Public Medicines Council (GPHC) that the current rules leave the door open to medicines that are provided without appropriate tests “and the danger of patient safety remains.”

He said that the organizer must require pharmacies to conduct a full -direction consulting, including collecting important medical information, for example through GP records.

He suggested consulting between the description and the patient through a face -to -face conversation or on the phone.

The Organizational Agency for Medicines and Healthcare for patients also warned against buying medicines from non -organized suppliers such as beauty salons and social media.

Mr. Kai said: “Obesity is one of the biggest challenges facing our country and pharmacies that want to play their role in helping patients to lose healthy weight and maintain them.

“Weight loss injections can play an important role in the efforts to address obesity when described as part of a carefully managed treatment program for patients who need support.

However, we are concerned that the current regulations allow some patients to reach inappropriately to weight loss injections without consulting or examining suitable for historical medical records.

“There is nothing wrong with online services in principle, but it is important for the regulator to take this opportunity to make the mandatory full consultation before distributing high -risk medications such as weight loss injection and ensuring priority for need in most of the clinical need, including the two types who have two type From diabetes.

“Medicines are not like the regular goods offered for sale, they must be dealt with very carefully because they have the ability to harm as well as to recover.

“We urge anyone not sure about medicine to talk to the pharmacist for advice.”
