Great Britain won gold on the day of the opening day at the UCI Cyclo-Cross.

Zoe Pakstid, Milo Wales, Zoe Roche, Oscar Amy, Cat Ferguson and Thomas Min won to Italy in two seconds, where Britain won the title for the first time.

GB ranked second in the previous championship, but the final contestant who canceled a 11 -second deficit to the United States of America, where the British team was raised from third place.

The British team scored 50 minutes three seconds to Pep Italy to gold, where France crossed the line behind it to overcome the United States of America to the bronze in a race soon.

Mixed deportation teams consist of the elite, under 23 years old, and young passengers, while allowing the teams to report their race order.

“I was feeling a little tension as there were a lot of elite cyclists in the last lap, so the house will not be easy,” said Maine, the only elite contestant in the British team.

“Going to the finish line was first an incredible feeling, knowing how difficult our work, the quality of the team and my father's vision in the finish line – amazing.”

The UCI Cyclo-Cross World Championship will be held in Levin, northern France, from January 31 to February 2.
