In a statement on Saturday, Preston said: “Milutin Osmagk strongly refuted the comment calls for Hannibal Megbery at the post -match meeting with match officials today.”
Speaking to the BBC Sport after the match, Burnley Scott Parker coach said: “I have been injured. I think everyone could see it at that time. Hannibal is an emotional player and was very tense than what was said.
“I don't want to enter into the real details of what was said, I'm sure it will be released in time. Hannibal reported it and has been destroyed bitterly, so we will see what is happening in the coming days.”
The Professional Football Association (PFA) also contacted Burnley to provide its support.
The two sides will meet at Deepdale again in the fifth round of the FA Cup on Saturday, March 1.
In October, OSMAJIC was banned on eight games by the English Federation of Owen Beck from Blackburn. He admitted the charge of violent behavior and was fined 15,000 pounds.
