Before she was hospitalized on February 11, Mellencamp was suffering from severe headache for several weeks. After conducting a CT scan and MRI, doctors found multiple tumors on her brain, which they believed were developing for at least six months.

The original plan was to remove two surgically larger tumors, while these younger therapy will be treated with radiotherapy later.

The surgery was successful, and Mellencamp is now focusing on the following steps in its treatment. She highlighted the vital support she received from family and friends, which she feels necessary to help her stay strong during this difficult time.

Milnkamb also expressed her heartfelt for the flow of love and prayers from her fans, and she is able to encourage her continues to heal the journey.
