Tom Hudson, the former Leicester coach, will take over the River Women's Competitives for Rajabi sharks at the end of the season.

The 30 -year -old will succeed former Captain Wales, Rachel Taylor, who confirmed in January that she will step down as a major coach at the end of this campaign.

Hudson's departure from Leicester was confirmed at a similar time. The Tigers coach was for a year, after being promoted from within the ranks.

Hudson said: “I grew up in Hitton Moore, and I was part of the shark and the sale of sharks is the family club, so I am really excited to return to a club, city and area that means a lot for me.”

“This club has a lot of capabilities, and if we can build on the wonderful work that has ended before, and add to the talented group that we have already obtained, I know that we can create a profitable culture and something of young girls in the north aspire to be part of it.”

“Tom is one of the brightest young coaches in the game and made wonders with the program in Leicester in two years there,” former Katie Dali Michelin, who is now selling to the shark program.

Sale also added Charlie Picky, who played alongside Hudson in Gloster during the spouses' days, as a defense coach. The 29 -year -old spent last season as an assistant coach at LoughBorough Lightning.

The Scrum Luke Strateford coach, who worked with Hudson in Leesster, is to switch to sale.

Sale Sharks ended the PWR table, scoring only one win in 16 games.
