A man was beaten to death on Long Island when it turned controversy over unpaid debts, causing a retired firefighter in New York City.
The New Zeree newspaper reported that James Rogers, 66, killed Mark Eyacono, 65, and his naked hands Thursday evening after an unknown alcohol meeting in the Gulf.
Rogers is a retired FDny leader who lives in Babylon. Supported 22 years with FDNY, and now runs living facilities with help, Newsday said.
Long Island investigators said that the two men began to argue over the money in the parking lot in the Ut -Utodian Church before 9 pm, shortly after the end of the meeting.
It was claimed that Rogers grabbed the Iacono and grabbed him on the floor.
Iacono fell face to the bottom, and claimed that Rogers grabbed his head and destroyed his face on the ground several times, according to the NewS12 Long Island.
After one of the witnesses pulled the Rogers from Iyakono, he continued to kick him.
Iacono's death was announced shortly after his arrival at the South Shore University Hospital in Pay Shore, even after 10 minutes.
Rogers was accused of first -class mansion. He acknowledged that he was not guilty during his trial in the first boycott court in the middle of ISLIP. It is scheduled to return to the court on March 11.
It was not clear from the reports that sparked the battle, or who owes money to whom.
