“The gathering of our fans together is at the heart of the BBC Scotland's work and I do not know anything that ignites passion here more than live international football.
“We have worked on this agreement since it started as a director in the past fall, and it was clear from the first day that people all over Scotland wanted to see their national team live on free TV.”
The matches will be shown on BBC One Scotland and BBC iPlayer – with major matches also broadcast throughout the UK – and adds to live international coverage on BBC Radio Scotland and BBC Sport.
The deal adds wide football coverage from the BBC to the Scottish Football League, the Scottish Cup and the Scottish Championship via television, radio and online.
Through the three countries, the deal includes 41 live games for the next 15 months.
