A close friend of Jane Hakman and Betsy Arakawa shed light on the true nature of the marriage of the couple in Hollywood.
The couple, known for their own lifestyle, spent their last years together at their residence in Santa before his death in February this year.

Medical experts indicated that Jane showed signs of advanced Alzheimer's disease and may not be able to survive without caring for his wife.

Speaking to the New York Times, the friend Tom Allen has long described the couple as content, as Petsi is responsible for managing Jane's medical dates and maintaining his health. He stated that the actor seemed pleased to allow his wife to take control while ensuring his health and fitness.
“It was very protected by him,” Tom added, stressing that without Pittsi care, Jin had died much earlier. “I really took care of him,” as he revealed, and revealed that the prominent pianist diluted wine with soda water at his ninety birthday celebration, according to the Daily Star.
