Los Angeles police said they also found a 39 -year -old firearm.
The police added that after McKinsey escaped from his car, the officers repelled him before he was detained.
He was booked on suspicion of violating criminal weapons.
The rapper is famous for his work with the Music Top Dawg Entertainment brand, and cooperative with the Kendrick Lamar rapper.
He won the Grammy Award for “King's Dead”, in 2019.
