Tierney has clarified a blatant picture of the game in Wales, admitting that “many parts of the system are broken” and admit that the product offered to the masses “is not good enough.”
Former Wales team captain Sam Warurton said that the Welsh rugby game should seriously think about cutting an area to collect the player's talent in three clubs.
But Terney replied by claiming that this process will take at least two years, in addition to creating “distraction and pain” and believes in preserving Cardiff, dragon, Ospress, Carmazi is a “bold” decision.
She said: “We are fully committed to four regions equally, and we give them every opportunity to succeed and this will lead to the development of the game.”
“We are increasing financing in addition to improving tracks to get enough quality players to serve them and work on the commercial side.
“This strategy will be faster and faster and has an effect in a closer time than the transition to three.”
WRU previously revealed her five -year ambition to build the game, including Wales to storm the five best teams in the world by 2029.
She previously announced funding for the regions, which will increase in July – from 4.5 million pounds each – with an increasing increase during the next three years to 6.5 million pounds each in addition to wiping some of the debts of the regions.
