The Trump administration sends a second plane carrier to the Middle East with tensions intensifying Houthi attacks on ships in the Red Sea.
Politico reported that military officials direct the USS Carl Vinson to the Red Sea and support the establishment of a car carrier at USS Harry S. Truman there for at least a month.
This is the second case during the past six months in which the United States has published two groups of carrier in the Middle East at the same time.
This is the first time that President Trump has two groups of carrier strikes in the region since he was returned to his post in January.
The offer of power comes with the outbreak of tensions with the Houthis, a terrorist group based in Yemen, which carried out separate attacks on ships crossing the Red Sea.
At the end of last week, Trump ordered military strikes against the Houthi outposts that later claimed the group killed 53 and wounded 98.
In response, the Houthis pledged to continue their attacks on shipping the Red Sea so that Israel withdraws from the Gaza Strip. The group escalated its attacks after the Hamas massacre on October 7, 2023 against Israel.
The Houthi forces, which toppled the Western government of Yemen in 2015 after the outbreak of the civil war last September, is currently being held most of the lands in the west of the country and along the Red Sea coast.
In the wake of strikes against the Houthis, Trump issued multiple general threats against Iran, which is the main supporter of the United States' terrorism organization.
“Every shot launched by the Houthis will be seen from this point forward, as a shot that was launched from Iran's weapons and leadership, Iran will bear a responsible, suffer from the consequences, and these consequences will be terrible,” Trump warned in a fateful social fact on Monday.
In a follow -up threat, Trump pledged on Wednesday that the Houthis would “exterminate”.
UsS Carl Vinson is currently involved in training exercises in the Eastern Sea exercises as well as the Japanese and southern Koreans.
The publication arrived at the Ministry of Defense for comment.
The Houthis have always been part of the Iranian agent network, which also included the former Bashar-Al Assad in Syria, Hezbollah and Hamas.
The Iranian agent network has been beaten over the year and a half. He criticized the Assad regime late last year, and Israel removed a higher leadership in both Hezbollah and Hamas.
