Everton striker Rick Madsen returned to remember her as her boyfriend suggested after her first appearance more than a year ago.
Denmark midfielder returned to work in a 3-0 victory for women in the school league on Saturday over Crystal Palace.
Madsen was named for the Brian Sorensen's Matchday team for the first time since March 10, 2024, after she gave birth to her daughter Fretsen in October.
The 27 -year -old came as a substitute in the second half, and when the team was celebrating his victory on the field after that and caught her child, her partner Martin Thomson fell on one knee for her suggestion.
Madsen accepted and the happy couple celebrated with her teammates, before Boss Sorensen presented the pair.
