Heather Knight was dismissed as the leader of England following the loss of her team 16-0 in Australia.
Knight has been in this position since 2016, but he supervised the difficult winter, as it won a series in South Africa between the disappointing T20 World Cup and a loud -ashes round in Australia.
On Friday, coach John Lewis was removed from his post after a review of the tour led by the director of women's cricket Claire Connor.
Knight, 34, led the side in eight tests, 94 internationals for one day and 96 T20s, with 134 wins of 199 games.
“I liked to be the Captain of England, it was the most rewarding period in my career,” Knight said.
“But at the present time, I am excited to focus on hitting and supporting the new team and captain in the best possible way.
“Women's Women's World Cup at ICC will be at home in Lord's in 2017 in 2017, it is always high, but being part of the huge steps made in the game of women outside the stadium brings me the same pride.”
Connor said Knight was “a distinguished leader and a role model.”
It will remain available for choosing England as a player only, but the ECB and Wales Council (ECB) has not yet confirmed who will be its successor.
Nat Skyper Bond and Emmy Jones alike germinated to Faris when she was absent due to injury, while Charlie Dayan was described out of pre -candidate as a possible permanent candidate.
The summer begins in England with a white football chain against the West Indies starting in May, before they faced India in June and July.
