Suffolk District police helped surrender a child on Monday after a mother entered the work on the side of the highway – and in the middle of the storm, according to the officials.
Three new officers responded to the 911 call that was reported to a woman at active work on the SUNRISE Highway in Shirley, Long Island at 6:11 pm, according to a press statement issued by the Sofolk County Police Department.
The seventh circle officers, Joseph Lassi, Brendan Nabi, and Jonathan Verte, rushed to the scene and assisted the 37 -year -old woman in the birth of a little girl while she was gathering in the Honda Agreement through heavy rains.
All three officers had just graduated from the Sofolk County Police Academy on Friday.
The newborn trio wrapped in a blanket before EMS arrived and my mother and daughter were transferred to Stone Brock University Hospital.
Both the mother and the child are in good health and are well announced, according to the police.
