Patrick Canaley fled the final hole, as Atlanta Drive GC won 6-5 over New York Golf Club in the opening match of the TGL final in Florida.
The American rolled in six feet for Bird Birds to settle the Rollercoasster competition in the Sophie Center, with Atlanta fading from the early match 2-0, but then comes from 4-2 to the bottom to win.
“Terner's momentum”, according to Cantle, came in the eleventh hole of the 15-hole match when Billy Horshel drained nine feet to draw the Atlanta level in 4-4.
“I got it, I do it,” said Horshil.
“We needed him and Billy went up.”
