The ASHES series securing this fall gives England the opportunity to test it up against world champions, after waiting for an eight -year.

This was the last meeting in the 2017 World Cup final, which Australia won. Since then, the kangaroo won the global crown again, and he did so in England in 2022.

Win added: “The opportunity to go up to the best in the world is enormous,” describing the opportunity to lead the team as “highlighting the training.”

“RFL and RL Commercial did a great job to get this because it was not clear.

“To get three ash test games in Fantastic Grounds is very exciting for me. I will make sure I am working hard and make sure the players are ready.”

Wane believes that the final match in Headingley in the Rugby League will be a “perfect end” given the offered facilities and loyalty shown in the previous events, but it is equally eager of places that highlight the ambition shown in the marketing of this tour.

“For Wembley – it is special for us,” he added. “I played there, I was there as a coach, I watched the games, I watched the test matches there.

“I grew up with Great Britain against Australia and England for the Australian matches.

“Everton is a new land.
