Police officers said that the food delivery worker was stabbed by a threat carrying bolts while trying to steal bicycles in Manhattan on Wednesday night.
34 -year -old monitored a pair of alleged thieves trying to steal his bike on West End Street 61 Street and 62 Street on the Alawite West Side around 10:20 pm, according to NYPD.
When the worker tried to stop them, one of the potential thieves closed the screwdriver in his back, according to the police.
The wounded victim was taken by the paramedics to Mount Murnengaside, where he was listed in a stable condition.
Police officers said that the Persians escaped south on West End Street.
