Brendan Rodgers, Celtic manager, believes that the Rangers Fackerf Serney wing showed “lack of respect” through his water celebrations in the old derby company.

The International Czech Republic, which was withdrawn five minutes before the seizure of Hamza Agaman of the late winner, aims to the contents of the bottle of drinks on the home fans while he was touching the target.

“I understand that the rejoicing players and the rings have every right to celebrate with their supporters,” said Rodgers.

“I came to Celtic Park, as it will be when we go to IBROX, you win a game of this size, celebrate it. But not that way.”

On Thursday, Barry Ferguson, the temporary president of Rangers, said that Cerny had obtained “Wee Bite Excelized”, adding: “I have no problems with that.”

But Rodgers was clear that he would not defend similar procedures.

He continued: “This respect, is it not?

“Listen, he works in both directions, and many come to players as well, from coaches, managers and players.

“But I think we all know that there is a line that we should not cross. It is a very emotional game, an amazing building, and I thought it's great getting [away] Fans return to this, and I think this gave them a little.

“But I only think there are lines that we cannot return because in this match in particular, it can lead to a problem.”
