Spokane, Wash. – USC wore Juju Watkins to Spokane Arena on Saturday for the date of Trojan Al -Helw 16 with Kansas State.
Watckens, whose ACL had tore the earlier this week, could not take the trip.
But there was an overwhelming feeling heading to the game in which the Trojan horses would win, despite its loss, its best player, on Watkins. Its existence was tangible.
The fans have signed banners with her face. Another reading, “We got you juju.”
It was not easy. Trojan horses had only three points in the fourth quarter and Kansas state was uncompromising.
But USC eventually survived 67-61 and set its ticket to the eighth elite for the second year in a row.
Kennedy Smith got 19 points and Affiri Huil added 18 points.
Usc went without a field goal in the final 4:35, but this does not matter. He presented the Trojan horses of eight free throws to keep their progress.
Trojan horses live to play another day. On Monday, Connecticut is scheduled to play a chance in the Fourth Fourth Marina.
