England has appointed former captain Charlotte Edwards as a new main coach.
The 45-year-old is the top scorer in England ever, John Lewis's place, which was sacked in March after 16-0 ashes in Australia.
Edwards has played more than 300 times for England in a 19 -year -old profession, including more than 200 games as captain.
In a 10 -year talisman, Edwards won three series of World Cup 50, 20 and 20 in 2009.
It was amazingly dismissed in 2016 and replaced Bahr Night, which then enjoyed her rule for nine years.
Knight was also dismissed in the wake of the ash disaster but will remain as a player, now under the leadership of coach Edwards.
Edwards said: “I cannot wait for this team to take forward and push us to succeed. This means that the world for me is that Lyons is on my chest again,” Edwards said.
“The leadership of England as a leader was my life 10 years ago, and I will be enthusiastic about this team and our inheritance forever. We have a talented group of players, and I am excited to work with them and improve them as individuals and a team.”
England has not named a new captain. Team captain, Nat Scif Brund, stated that she would want this role, while Charlie Dean said outside the match that she “will not say no.”
The turmoil comes at the top of the England team as a result of an ash review, led by the director of women's cricket Claire Connor.
Realistically, Edwards was the distinguished candidate for the reconstruction leadership, as Connor described her as a “proven winner.” After her career in playing, she achieved great success as a coach.
Its southern snakes were the strongest team in the local Cricket game in English and the Southern Edwards courage won the award of hundreds of women in 2023.
Abroad, Edwards Indian Mumbai led two titles in three seasons in the Premier League in India. In 2022, Edwards Sydney Sixers was beaten in the Bash Al -Kabeer Final in Australia.
“When we set job standards, it became clear that Charlotte was the distinguished candidate,” Connor added.
“She has experience, passion and experience to lead this team to success. The results she achieved as a major coach in multiple environments, since her retirement as one of the greatest players of England ever, is a testimony for its uncompromising leadership and the criteria that it determines for those around it.
“She won her emergence; she won over and over again as a player and now as a coach. She has a deep knowledge of the game, in England and all over the world, and she understands the importance of creating a difficult and supportive environment.”
Edwards will lead the England chain at the White House against the West Indies and India this summer, reaching 50 World Cups in India in October.
