A young mother invites a new law in her name after her lover left a lie for 30 hours. Kimberly Makassi, 29, was drinking and taking drugs with Ryan Sheridan when she woke up to find her not responding in his bed four years ago.
But instead of calling 999, Sheridan called his mother who came out and bought sandwiches before calling emergency services in the end after about 30 hours. The delay meant the existence of complications with Mortem in Kimberly, which means that her family will never get the answers they wanted about how she died.
But the family from Pretoute, Mank, was “shocked and angry” when I knew that there is currently no law forcing to seek help in the state of emergency, unless they had a care for care.
Now, the Kimberly family launched a campaign calling on the government to make it a criminal crime not to contact 999 in an emergency.
“It is a great loss for all of us. So far, I find it difficult to believe that it is still here. I must think it is elsewhere.
She added, “You can be here today if it rang emergency services, and this is something that we will never know,” she added.
“She has a beautiful daughter, who is 12 years old, and she wants answers about what happened to her mother.”
Kimberly Sheridan, whom she knew several years ago, visited on the evening of February 1921.
According to the police interviews with Sheridan, the couple was drinking and taking MDMA, which Sheridan provided before heading to his bedroom for sex.
In the investigation of Kimberly last November, the criminal investigative judge, Joan Kirrsley, concluded that Kimberly was almost “almost responding” by the end of this activity.
She said that Sheridan realized that Kimberly died “no later than 6 am” on February 20, but he did not take any action for another 30 hours.
The pathologist added that it was “a conscious and calculated decision by Mr. Sheridan.”
Instead, the first person to call his mother Emma Hydeon, who eventually called 999 after two days on February 21.
But the court heard that it came out for the first time and bought milk and sandwiches “so that he could eat before it was detained to the police.”
The pathologist described these procedures as “more harsh” than her son.
“I can understand it, but to go out and enjoy the return, sitting and eating food, it is incredible,” said Cameberley Chelet Crocs.
When interrogated by the police about the reason not to call 999, Sheridan claimed that this was because he was already on bail of the police to attack his ex -girlfriend.
He was later imprisoned for drug crimes, but the Kimberly family was also expecting him to confront charges of failure to seek help.
“This is when we were told that it was not against the law,” her aunt said.
“I couldn't believe that, we were shocked and then started to feel angry because how you can get away with leaving someone for this time.”
The family has already gained 7000 signatures of the Kimberley Law campaign, which they launched in January, so “there is no other family that must suffer from the way it has.”
“Kim will not help now, but he might save someone's life and this is what Kim wants to help others,” Mom Carey said.
“It was an amazing person, she would literally drop anything and help anyone, and she was nice to the heart.”
