The beloved New York City Metro Singer, who was launched in the stardom, died of “American Got Talent” at the age of 72.
Alice Tan Ridley, the mother of Oscar Jabori Sidii, died on March 25 in New York City.
Her death was confirmed by her loved ones, including the “precious” actress, 41 years old, in an obituary published by Scanres Funeral Home in Columbus, Georgia.
No cause of death was announced.
She was born on December 21, 1952, and a citizen of New York City graduated from Stewart Secondary County School in 1969 before obtaining a teaching license from the Education Council in New York.
Ridley then started a profession as a private education teacher in Brooklyn.
In 1980, she got married to the son of Sidi. The husband continued to welcome the actress “Empire” in 1983, as well as son Ahmed.
The obituary added that the duo eventually divorced, but he remained in good terms in the years that followed its division.
Ridley was remembered as a “column of the singing circle in New York City” after spent more than three decades at the Herrad Square subway station.
Later on singing on the subway, I started to get tips, and perform the songs of strength like “I will always love you”, “I will stay” and “My heart will continue.”

Ridley has survived by her two children, her grandchildren, two brothers, two sisters, and other relatives.
