Jacques Stelwell – who was once crowned a young farmer for the year – was arrested to submit value -added tax claims for three of his agricultural companies.

HMRC said it had been investigated at StilWell, from Hampsheer, after his crimes that occurred between November 2021 and June 2022, and on July 2, 2022.
He saw the first Stilwell crime that provides 20 wrong VAT data on behalf of Roundstone Beef Ltd, with a total of 1,278,277.13 pounds.
The second condemnation included a single -minimized value -added tax statement provided in July 2022 for Greenwell Farms Ltd, in which he demanded 37621.00 pounds.
The third charge related to eight wrong data provided on behalf of Greenwell Holdings LTD, which amounted to 568,345.66 pounds.

At Portsmouth Crown Court on Friday, Stelwell was imprisoned for two and a half years due to tax fraud after recognizing three charges of providing wrong value -added tax returns.
A HMRC spokesman said: “Tax fraud is not a victim.
The majority pays the due tax, but the specified minority refuses to play with the rules.
“We are determined to create a level stadium to allow honest companies to prosper and encourage anyone who has information about tax fraud or money laundering to report on the Internet.”

He gave his last update in February about his attempt to run 500 miles per year against the Charitable Society – when he had already acknowledged that he was guilty of value -added tax fraud and was waiting for the verdict.
