Wadi previously scored 82 attempts in seven seasons with wasps before joining Buffalo Bills as part of the NFL international path program in 2018.

He recorded a 65 yard on his first appearance in bills during the pre -season, but he never appeared in the normal season.

He returned to the Rugby Union in 2022 with a move to the race, before linking with Gloucester last summer.

The legend of Wigan Martin Outha, who left himself for Rajabi to join Widsz in 1987, said that the signature of a valley was great for this sport.

“The signature of Wigan on Christian Wadi is the largest coup for the Rugby League sport since Jonathan Davis joined Widens in the 1980s,” he said.

Matti Pitt, the Wagan coach, told the club's website: “In addition to working hard to learn a new sport, we expect Christian to bring his character to the team in terms of his sport, skills and experience.”
