“Our wonderful partnership with BBC Sport is back to the first edition of the London Marathon in 1981, and we are pleased to expand our partnership to the fifty edition in 2030,” said Hugh Prair, CEO of MARATHON Events in London.
“Our work together was extraordinary, as it was offering great races, inspiring millions to get activity and description the amazing reasons that force people to run, and to face this challenge, and in turn collecting more than 1.3 billion pounds of charitable works.”
The London 2025 Marathon starts on Sunday from 8:30 GMT live on the BBC or, as well as on the BBC BBC Sport.
As part of the new contract, the BBC Sport will also offer coverage of the events of other London Marathon including the large half, the vitality of London 10,000 and the VITALITY WestMinster Mile on digital platforms.
