Although Cheeych Marin and Tommy Chong are a pioneer in this type of comedy Stoneer, the Cult Film movie privilege looks very different.
While appearing on Real time with Bill Maher On Friday, the duo discussed the new documentary Cheeych & Chong movie I remembered the director who was nominated for the Academy Award, they tried to employ one of their films.
“On one occasion, I called Terrence Malick – I am a great fan of Terrence Malick, his films are great – because we were looking for a director,” Chung Maher recalls. “We had a little conversation. I knew I was upset. I had this feeling. It was like,” from this? ”

After moving to Los Angeles and launching a number of comedy albums, the husband released his first feature In smoke In 1978, the film followed The following movie Cheeych and Chong (1980), Beautiful dreams (1981), Things are difficult everywhere (1982), Smoke is still (1983) and Cheeych & Chong's Corcican Brothers (1984).
After the release of their album for the year 1985 Get out of my roomMarin left the duo to focus on his single career, and he starred in his directing with Born in East Los Angeles (1987).
