“Until now, there is little improvement in its condition. It is still in a coma, but the wonderful team that he takes care of is sure that it shows some positive signs.”
She added: “Ed and his brothers are incredibly close and feel his absence, as well as his father and I.”
Ms. Parker said that social media publications were “very sad” in the wake of the tragic accident. Much of speculation and poor treatment was an effect on the family.
She said: “We wanted to reduce countless events that revolve around Ed and also to urge people to think about what they write on social media for their loved ones to see.”
“We are going through one of the worst things that a parent can go through, and some unjustified comments increase our heartache as a family. Ed is just a young man who made a mistake and he pays its price dearly.”
Mrs. Parker refuted some suggestions. “As much as I realized, alcohol was consumed, but I am sure that it was not paralyzed as some jobs indicate,” she said.
“I am also confident that the mother could have been that no other material has been involved.”
