Two men in New York were emerging due to lightning while walking in Colorado to safety, while he was believed to save the highest helicopter ever in the state.
The duo – whose identity has not been determined – called at about 5 pm on Thursday after leaving the track while trying to climb Torreys Peak, one of the top of the state at the state at a height of 14300 feet.
“It didn't seem to have a lot of experience,” said Jack Smith, a spokesman for the Alps Rescue team.
“I think it may have been just a lack of awareness.”
Emergency crews directed men again on the path when they were beaten after a minute of lightning – leaving one of the tights is not respondent and in critical condition.
About 30 rescuers rose the mountain, while the National Kulorado goalkeeper Black Hawk raised the injured man from the peak at 14,200 feet.
He was then transferred to the Double Hospital Unit, where he remains in a fair condition.
The helicopter returned around the middle of the night to save the other wounded man, as it briefly landed on the mountain before being treated and released from a nearby hospital.
Emergency officials believe that the bold rescue broke the previous record of the state of 13700 feet – with such tasks challenging the air reduction, which reduces the lifting of the helicopter at higher altitudes.
