We are ashamed of this negativity.
Why does it seem that the cinema, which is a ground for multiplying for socially committed works, is indifferent to the horror of reality and the repression that our sisters and brothers suffered?
As artists and cultural players, we cannot remain silent during the genocide in Gaza, and this that is indescribable to strikes our societies hard.
What is the goal of our professions if not to extract lessons from history, to make committed films, if we are not present to protect the persecuted voices?
Why this silence?
The extremist right, fascism, colonialism, anti -tanning, gay control, nationality, racism, phobia, anti -Semitic, launch its battle in the battle of ideas, attacking publishing, cinema and universities, which is why we are the duty to fight.
Let's refuse to allow our art to be a partner for the worst.
Let's get up.
Let's call reality.
Let us collect collectively to look at it with the accuracy of our sensitive hearts, so that it can no longer silence it and cover it.
Let's reject propaganda that constantly colonizes our imagination and makes us lose our sense of humanity.
For Fatem, for all who die in indifference.
Cinema has the duty to carry its messages, to reflect our societies.
Let's act before it is too late.
