Rosamund Pike Stars In Babak Anvari Thriller

Exclusive: Deadline has the first trio of stills Halo Roadthe new psychological thriller from BAFTA winner Babak Anvari (Under the shade), starring Golden Globe and Emmy Award winner Rosamund Pike (Saltburn) and Emmy Award winner Matthew Rhys (Saturday night).

In the film, which marks the first screenplay from William Gillis, two parents are in a race against time when they receive a distressing late-night phone call from their daughter after she causes a tragic car accident.

We were first to report on the project, which was filmed in Ireland and Prague, in November 2023. It was commissioned and developed by LNDN, which produced alongside Anvari's Two & Two Pictures and XYZ Films.
