THE newest Bachelor has been announced and left fans completely shocked.
On Monday night, the major announcement was revealed online after the newest episode of The Bachelorette.
Fans can look forward to welcoming back Jenn Tran’s contestant Grant Ellis, as stated in a report by People.
The last time viewers saw Grant was on Monday’s episode as Grant made it to the final six men competing for Jenn’s heart.
Unfortunately for him, Grant was sent packing after not receiving a rose one week before the hometown dates.
In a press release, ABC wrote, “After an emotional exit, Grant Ellis’ journey to find love will continue as he takes on the role of leading man for the upcoming 29th season of The Bachelor.
“The adventurous day trader, who captured the hearts of Bachelor Nation with his genuine desire to build a future centered around family on Jenn’s season of The Bachelorette, will be handing out roses when his season premieres next year on ABC.”
GRANT’S GOODBYE
After leaving the large mansion located in Seattle, Washington, Grant was left in tears after not receiving a rose.
“I poured everything out and it wasn’t good enough,” he revealed to producers.
“It just sucks knowing that you feel some way about somebody, and they don’t feel the same about you.”
He continued to explain what he wanted in his future
“I want a family, you know? I want to be happy. I want a wife. I want to be in love. I want that.
“I want to give everything to somebody, and I want them to give everything to me in return. I don’t know what else to say. I did not think that was going to happen tonight.”
The other contestant sent home was Spencer Conley, who took the rejection just as hard.
