Former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan was sentenced to 14 years in prison after being convicted of corruption.
The former cricket captain, who has already been jailed after being allegedly linked to a £200 million corruption case, has been sentenced.
His wife was also sentenced to seven years in prison after they were accused of accepting a gift of land from the property tycoon in exchange for money laundering while Khan was in power.
Prosecutors say Khan allowed businessman Malik Riaz to pay fines imposed on him in another case from the same £190 million laundered funds.
Khan has denied any wrongdoing and has insisted since his arrest in 2023 that all charges against him are a plot by his rivals to prevent him from returning to office.
