Patrick Mahomes shared a message to Kansas City Chiefs fans after their divisional round win over the Houston Texans.

A 23-14 win for the Chiefs would send them to play in the AFC championship game the next Weekend.

After Saturday's game, 29-year-old Patrick Mahomes sent a message to Chiefs fans on social media

Mahomes, a three-time Super Bowl champion, will play in familiar territory next Sunday.

Kansas City will be making the team's seventh straight AFC Championship appearance.

Following Saturday's win at Arrowhead, Mahomes shared a message to Chiefs fans who attended the contest.

“Thank you #ChiefsKingsdom!!!! See you next week!” the 29-year-old wrote on X.

Kansas City Chiefs fans then responded to the two-time NFL MVP Social media platform.

“You were great yesterday big bro,” one commented.

“What a goat, we love you Mahomes,” another wrote.

“No, thank you Patrick!!” A third added.

Mahomes completed 16 of 26 passes for 177 yards and a touchdown.

The touchdown was caught by Travis Kelce, who recorded seven receptions for 117 yards.

But the Chiefs' defense stood out in the game when they were sacked C.J. Stroud Eight times.

Defensive end George Karlaftis posted three sacks in the contest.

Kansas City received some controversial calls, including some penalties on Texans defensive players who made contact with Mahomes.

After the game, Houston star Will Anderson Jr. said he thought the referees were against his team.

“We knew we were going to face the referees in this game,” Anderson told reporters on ESPN.

However, the Chiefs will face the Buffaloes Bills In the Asian Championship.

The Bills beat the Ravens 27-25 in the divisional round on Sunday.

The fourth playoff game will be between Mahomes and the Bills.

Kansas City has won the previous three games, including last season's divisional round game.
