BBC Sport NI will show five Allianz League matches in 2025, starting with a big Division One football clash on Saturday as champions Derry travel to take on Ulster rivals Tyrone.

Thomas Niblock and Mark Sidebottom will be joined in the Healy Park contest (18:00 GMT) by former Tyrone and Derry manager Mickey Harte, who masterminded the Oak Livers' league triumph last year.

This will be Derry and Tyrone's first competitive match with the new rules of Gaelic football as envisaged by Jim Gavin's Football Review Committee, which are due to be introduced after they are passed at a special conference in November.

Saturday's match will also mark the beginning of Malachy O'Rourke and Paddy Talley's coaching era with Tyrone and Derry.

Recently retired Derry defender Chrissy Macaigo, who won two Ulster titles with the county, will also be part of the BBC's coverage this year, joining the returning Philly McMahon and Jimmy O'Connor.

The second BBC fixture is Davy Fitzgerald's first home game as Antrim throw in the towel as the Saffrons take on Westmeath at Corrigan Park in Division One B on February 2 (14:00).

On February 15, Tiltian Cup champions Down host Meath in Division Two, with Conor Lafferty's Morneymen targeting another step up the ladder after securing promotion from the Third Division in 2024.

There is double action on the weekend of February 22/23. First, Derry travel to Croke Park to face Dublin in a repeat of last year's Division One final, which the Ulster team won on penalties.

The following day, Antrim hurlers are back in the spotlight when they host Fitzgerald's former side Waterford.

All five matches will be shown live on BBC iPlayer and the BBC Sport website.
