The governor of South Dakota Christie was confirmed as the new Minister of Internal Security for the United States on Saturday with a vote from 59 to 34 in the Senate.

This confirmation was much less dramatic than a vote 51-50 on Friday to confirm the former Fox News host Beit Higseth as Minister of Defense, where Vice Vice President JD VANCE made a tie.

In his capacity as Minister of Internal Security, Naim, 53, will supervise the customs and protection of the American border, the United States' secret service, and the enforcement of American migration and customs among many other entities.

“Christie was very strong in border security,” Trump said when he announced it as his choice in November. “You will work closely with the” Tsar Borders “Tom Human to secure the borders, and will ensure that our American homeland is safe from our opponents.”

During the confirmation session, Naim-which was considered at one time considered a potential vice president of Trump-border security as a “maximum priority”, stressed the need for a “fair and legitimate immigration system” and pledged to grant border border agents the resources necessary to carry out their work.

She promised to restore Trump's stay in Mexico's policy, and closing the Cuban, Haytiete, Nicaroa, and Venezuele, who said immigrants were given a free trip to the United States, with the permission of Uncle Sam.

“There are many of these programs that must be canceled, and we need to make sure that we are following legal immigration laws.”
