DALLAS Cowboys fans haven’t had much to cheer about for the last three decades.
But despite their years of frustration, they are the first professional sports team to be valued at more than $10 billion.
The Cowboys last won a Super Bowl in January, 1996.
But “America’s Team” still has an appeal all of its own.
And in a new list released by Sportico, the Cowboys are a long way ahead of all the other NFL franchises in terms of monetary value.
Dallas is valued at $10.32 billion, a quite staggering number that says a lot for how well supported the team is.
The Los Angeles Rams are ranked second on the list, valued at $7.79 billion.
The Rams have been successful in recent times, winning the Super Bowl in 2022.
Next comes the New York Giants in third at $7.65 billion, with the New England Patriots just below at $7.31 billion and the San Francisco 49ers at $6.86 billion.
The 32 NFL franchises collectively are worth $190 billion, perfectly illustrating the staggering wealth of the NFL.
