Josh Harris, the owner of Philadelphia 76ers, recently addressed the amazing performance of the team this season and shared his ideas about the Star Joel Empid center.
The Sixers team faced great challenges, currently carrying a 17-27 record, which was a source of disappointment for both the organization and its fans.
In a conversation with The Athletic, Harris expressed his dissatisfaction with the team's position, saying: “It is clear that it was a disappointing season. No one is happy with what we are. We are not happy.”
In Philly, it seems that no one – unless you root the eagles, of course.
One of the main factors that contribute to the team's struggles was the limited availability of Embiid mentioned above due to various injuries, as it always appears with the former US Professional League.
Embiid, 30, has been marginalized for a large part of the season, limited to only 13 games in 44 games, with more absence on the horizon.
Despite these setbacks, Harris is still optimistic about the return of Embiid and its potential impact on the team's wealth.
He said about Embiid: “I want him to make his body right and enter the stadium.” “If he returns to the field, everything will fall in place.”
Harris also highlighted Embiid, in reference to his journey from losing his first two seasons in the American Professional League due to injuries to become MVP in the league two seasons ago.
“He is a warrior. I have seen this. Harris indicated that he had a lot of injuries.
Looking at the future, Harris conveyed the hope of the transformation, stressing the importance of Embiid health and the team's collective effort.
“He gets the best absolute care and best advice,” he said. “I hope he will fight this and achieve it, and this is what we will plan now.”
