Steve Smith has passed Australia for 10,000 in the Cricket game during the first day of his team's opening match in Sri Lanka.
The 35 -year -old went to the first test of the match series on 9,999 running, and as a captain in the absence of Bat Kamins, he chose the bats after winning Erm.
He came to wrinkle after Travis Head and Marnus Labuschagne were rejected and pushed his first delivery to mid -one to become the fifteenth mixture to 10,000 testing.
Smith is the fourth Australian who reaches the teacher after the borders of Steve Woo and Rick Puntng.
“Fortunately, this hit one in the gap is very nice to get it away,” Smith, who was 64 years in tea in Gali, told Australia 7cricket.

The Indian Sachin Tendulkar holds the record for most tests in 15,921, with Pting second with 13,378.
Joe Root England is ranked fifth in the list with 12,972 after passing his compatriot Alison Cook, who is ranked sixth in 12472.
