France’s The Yard Joins UK Screen Alliance After London Studio Launch

France has participated in the UK's screen coalition membership, the leading trade association that represents visual effects in the United Kingdom, film studios TV, post -production and animation.

The Paris -based company said this step, a few months after the opening of the London branch headed by Ben Owen, which bears the “milestone” mark in its commitment to contribute to creative and cooperation industries in the United Kingdom.

“Joining the UK's screen coalition confirms our strategy to compatible with partners who are sincerely defending the UK's VFX industry and its entire ecosystem,” Lorenz Erman, founder and chief VFX.

“Their call and their recent successes, especially in securing the incentive structure, are fully compatible with our vision to expand in the talent and opportunities rich. We look forward to cooperating with other members to enhance the screen sector.”

Neil Hatton, CEO of UK Screen Alliance, Yard BVFX, welcomed to become a member, noting that the last increase in the UK VFX incentive (to 39 % of 34 % of the qualifying costs from January 2025) and the strong skills base was a withdrawal of international companies .

“We look forward to the scene participating in our meetings and events, which brings their unique perspective and experience.”

As a member, the annihilation will be able to engage in the formation of politics discussions, communication with industry leaders, and to reach resources and training.
