One person was killed and five others were injured in a “targeted” shooting in the cosmetic warehouse in Ohio on Tuesday night, when the person is still interested in a situation, according to law enforcement.
The fire broke out in the KDC/One Cosmetics building in New Albanian – 15 miles northeast of the capital of Columbus – at approximately 11 pm, the New Albanian police chief Greg Jones said early on Wednesday.
The authorities confirmed that there were six people who fired – one in a fatal way – inside the “Great Building” and the victim announced the death of the accident.
The other five were transferred to a local hospital. Their circumstances are unknown.
Jones said that an important person had been identified, but their identity was not detected after the police worked to “prepare them.”
He said that the police do not believe that the suspect is a threat to the public.
“We believe that we may know their position. We have no reason to believe that they are a general threat to society.” “At this stage it seems a targeted type of attack.”
Jones said that the building was cleared, but it was called “the questioner.” The officers regained a firearm at the scene.
The police have not yet determined the fire and said that they had not received any “reports of a quarrel in advance or after that.”
When the officers arrived at the scene, Jones said that some people were “self -loved to the building.”
Jones said that the first respondents managed to evacuate everyone – estimated that “at least 150 people” – at home and transporting them to a “adjacent building” about 400 yards from the place where the shooting occurred.
The law is applied to an interview with the witnesses of those who were evacuated to help in achieving them and work through “language barriers” with some employees.
He said they are currently working to notify the families of “the injured and the deceased.”
“Everyone seems to be in good health,” said Jones. “Once again, many of them did not know what happened. They were aware of that until they were evacuated.”
Investigation of shooting continues.
This was a very tragic situation. Jones said: “Our ideas come out to the victims and their families and everyone who works in this facility.”
This is something that we had never had to happen in our society. But we are preparing for that. ”
