Six Nations: Aaron Wainwright embodies pain and hope of Welsh rugby

Wamwright may find himself at the foot of the Six Nations Championship and UNITED RUGBY, but his commitment determines.

His experience was against Italy Fifth this season, already his best return in the upper knees game after only 11 games, and offered a glimmer of hope in the Roman rain.

It also came only one week after he left Antoine Dubont's studs with a terrible face injury in Paris.

Ireland is now lining up to put the shoe in Wales after that, but Wainwright made a profession to take itself back. Wales hopes to do it too.

“Matt has made a big point about changing the mentality and players who enjoy their presence in Wales,” he said.

“There is a huge thing about adhering to each other as a group of a player because we are the only ones who can change things in the next two weeks.

“It is a big challenge against Ireland, one of the best teams in the world. It's incredibly detailed in everything they do and all the little things they can stay away from.

“So we must be right to play and enjoy the challenge. I'm sure that the fans will get it.”
