Anna Morris broke her world record for the third time a week to win the individual women's chase in the British Championship in Manchester.
Wilsh the woman had shattered her record twice in one day when she won the gold in the European Championship last week.
I made it three by shaving more than a second to demand victory with a time of four minutes 24.060 seconds at the National Cycling Center.
“The motivation was really high, especially on a home path in front of a crowd of home,” she said. “I feel it a little after the race in the euro, so I was not sure of a Turkish amount inside me, but the crowd definitely carried me in those last four rolls.
“I was just trying to keep my head in those last kilometers, trying to keep the pedal as much as I could, felt they were surrendering, but I was hearing the crowd, so I tried to stick.
“I often feel that I live the life of someone else at times, it's very surreal. But I am very grateful to all the opportunities that have been given to me.”
Maurice II's victory was in the tournament after winning the women's scratching on Friday.
